During April, we continued to prepare for the main clean up operation to get underway with the construction of the plant areas and the arrival of key bits of equipment for the thermal desorption unit. The temporary bridge across the River Rother has also now been built to enable safe access to the lagoon area of the site. The last remaining structures on site – two green pressure vessels which used to hold gases and chemicals – were removed.
