This month we started to move some of the contaminated soil by the River Rother and commenced construction of a sheet pile wall between the river and the lagoons to allow safe excavation. Work continued on the construction of the remediation plant areas ready for the main works to start in the autumn. The air quality monitors pictured are helping the site team to ensure dust and odours arising from the works are kept at safe levels.
