Two events were held to show partners / local people the completed thermal plant. This is at the start of its commissioning phase, and will be fully operational next month. Excavations continue on the original waste tip, with contaminated materials being sorted in the picking station prior to treatment. Off site, the team have begun preparations on the site masterplan / development planning application. This will be submitted to NEDDC next year - details will be made available via this website.
